Journey with Lydia Toward Growth and Healing
Lydia brings a warm, soothing, and compassionate presence to her work, and finds deep fulfillment in walking alongside others through life’s challenges. She has experience supporting clients from diverse age groups and cultural backgrounds as they navigate concerns such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, self-esteem, relationships, spirituality, and cultural adjustment. She believes therapy is both a journey of walking with clients and a place of transformation, and she holds faith that there is power for growth and healing within each person’s life. Lydia is passionate about creating a safe and nurturing space where clients feel heard, respected, and supported every step of the way.
Therapeutic Approach
Lydia’s work is informed by:
- Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
- Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT)
- Family Systems Theory
- Trauma-informed therapy
She integrates these approaches in a thoughtful and collaborative way, helping clients deepen emotional awareness, strengthen relationships, build practical coping skills, and move toward greater resilience and self-understanding.
Lydia believes meaningful change begins with safety and connection. In session, she moves at a pace that feels steady and respectful, offering both emotional support and practical tools. Lydia is especially attentive to the emotional and relational patterns that shape how people experience themselves and others. She gently helps clients identify the thoughts, emotions, patterns, and beliefs that may have kept them feeling stuck, while fostering new perspectives and ways of relating that support growth and change.
For clients who desire, she welcomes the integration of faith, including biblical texts, stories, values, and prayer, into therapy, approaching these conversations with humility, care, and respect.
